What is Monoï Oil?

Monoï Oil is the most magnificent oil on the planet! It’s made from Coprah Oil (Coconut Oil) and Tiare Flowers and the scent is just exquisite. Not only does it smell amazing, it is so good for your skin, your hair and anywhere else you can think to use it. Check out our World of Monoï tab for more information.

What are the most common uses for Monoï Oil?

Monoï Oil is most commonly used in body care (lotions, scrubs, body butters), and hair care. It is an amazing moisturizer for even the driest skin. The Polynesian People have used Monoï Oil for thousands of years. It’s been used for medicinal purposes, in cosmetics and also religious practices. They lather their newborn babies with this amazing oil to protect them from cooler temperatures in the evenings.

What makes Monoï Oil so special?

Aside from the fact that it is only made in French Polynesia, it was the first cosmetic product to ever be granted an Appellation of Origin (Guarantee of Origin). If you know anything about French Culture, then you will understand how important this actually is. An Appellation of Origin is only given to products that are known to be of the highest quality. It is made under the strictest of guidelines and the end result is a magnificent and amazing oil that is absolutely extraordinary for your entire body as well as your hair.

Do you currently ship outside of the United States?

We do ship internationally to a few select countries at this time! International orders are also shipped via USPS and include tracking. Unfortunately, we do not have any control over customs and Monoi Botanicals is not responsible for any delays due to international customs protocol or fees.

For International Orders:

While many packages make it to their final destination without issues, Monoi Botanicals, LLC. is not responsible once the package lands in the destination country as we do not have any jurisdiction over international countries and their postal systems. Should any issues arise after the package has landed in the destination country, the recipient is responsible for contacting their local postal service to remedy the situation. The recipient is also responsible for all customs fees, taxes, and brokerage charges. While many orders make it through customs without issues, the customs agency in your country may require you to pay fees before receiving your package. It is the recipient’s responsibility to check with their country’s Customs Office to verify any fees as we are unable to provide the recipient with the exact amount of the charges. By completing your order you agree to pay all applicable fees. If your package is seized by Customs Officials for any reason whatsoever, we will not issue you a refund unless all products are returned to us in their original condition/packaging. If you refuse or return your order no international shipping charges or fees paid to local government will be refunded. If you have any questions, we encourage you to contact your Customs Office, as Monoi Botanicals, LLC cannot advise you about your country’s customs policies.

Returns and Exchanges

How do I cancel my order?

Contact Monoï Botanicals immediately via phone and or e-mail as most orders are shipped out within 24 hours of purchase.

What do I do if my product(s) arrive damaged?

If your product(s) arrive damaged, please notify us immediately. We will coordinate with the shipper to have those items inspected and the damaged items will be replaced.

How do I return items?

If you are not 100% satisfied, please return the unused portion of the items to us. All returns must be received by Monoï Botanicals within 30 days of the initial purchase. The unused portion of the product(s) must be in the original packaging when returned. Before returning the product(s), an e-mail notification of the intent to return the product(s) and why the product(s) are being returned must be sent to stephanie@monoibotanicals.com. Please do not return the product(s) until you receive an e-mail response.

The customer is responsible for all return shipping fees. Refunds will be applied to the credit card used at checkout minus the shipping fees.

 Returns & Exchanges for International Orders

ORDERS SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES: 

  • We are able to accept return requests for international orders within 90 days from the date of purchase. We are unable to accommodate any requests falling out of these guidelines.
  • All products must be returned in their original packaging.
  • You must notify Monoi Botanicals, LLC of your intent to return items by emailing us at stephanie@monoibotanicals.com. Please do not return any items until you have received an email confirmation from us about your intent to return your items.
  • The customer is responsible for all return shipping fees. Refunds will be applied to the credit card used at checkout minus the shipping fees.
